On the morning of February 23, the 6 MW PV power generation project in Qiemo County invested by Xinjiang Yutian New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. started construction, with a total investment of 240 million yuan and the construction duration of 4 months. It is planned to start electricity generation in June.
The installation type of the project includes household power, micro-network demonstration power plant, and Qiemo County become a national photovoltaic demonstration county relying on the project. In November 2010, the project was jointly approved by the Ministry of Finance, the National Energy Bureau, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and was included in the project directory of the "Golden Sun Demonstration Project" for publicity.
In year 2011, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Finance, the National Energy Bureau, Qiemo County People's Government and Xinjiang Yutian New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. jointly revised and improved the implementation of the program, and the two sides signed a for the project land utilizing agreement, project operation and maintenance program, and operation and maintenance agreement.
