It is learned from the Taiwan farmers Pioneer Park of Kunming Shilin County that Shilin AstaBiotec LLC will build the third-phase project of the Yunnan microalgae photobioreactor demonstration base in the Taiwan farmers Pioneer Park of Shilin County. It will become the world's largest microalgae industrial base to substantially drive the regional health industry.
The Yunnan microalgae photobioreactors reactor demonstration base is located in the core area of Shilin Taiwan farmers Pioneer Park. Since the project started construction in 2010, nearly 25 million yuan has been invested, and 88 photobioreactors, the Chief R & D center, the initial processing plant and supporting facilities of Phase One and Phase Two have been completed. The large-scale microalgae cultivation base and research center have been put into operation, having achieved the microalgae dry powder with an annual output of 12 tons, annual output value of 25 million yuan.
The third phase of the project will be launched between May and December this year, a total investment of 100 million yuan is planned for the construction of 480 new photobioreactors, the GMP extraction plant, the annual output of 30 tons of natural astaxanthin (10% oil), deep processed products (the microalgae secondary extract powder, nanocapsules, water soluble powder, etc.) 3 tons, the annual output value of 186 million yuan. After completion it will become the world's largest microalgae industrial base.
The propulsion of the project implementation has an important demonstration effect in promoting the construction of modern agriculture development and bio-industrial development in the province .
