Lanzhou City will build a municipal solid waste landfill. Recently, Lanzhou government released project site selection submissions for several urban construction projects, including the municipal solid waste landfill located in Anning District.
According to the "Lanzhou urban sanitation special plan" (2008 ~ 2020), the construction work of Lanzhou City harmless treatment are progressing. Due to construction funds and other reasons, there is not a garbage disposal landfill up to "GB" standard in Lanzhou.
It is said that the Lu Jia groove municipal solid waste landfill of Chengguan District, municipal solid waste landfill in the Yangwa ditch are now closed after the "extended" four or five years "duty". The Fulongping municipal solid waste landfill in use now is in "extended duty" status.
According to Lanzhou overall urban planning, considering the principles of waste disposal sites selection, the Lanzhou government decided to select Mao Mao Ju Ditch on the west side of the northwest entrance of Lanzhou City as the location of the municipal solid waste landfill for both Anning District and Xigu District.
