Recently, the National Energy Bureau issued the "Circular on promotion of the healthy development of the low calorific value coal power generation industry", clearly stated the target to increase 50 million kilowatts of low calorific value coal power generation during the "12th Five-Year" period . The policy offers new opportunities for the development of coal and electricity integration project vigorously.
"Circular" points out:
(1) projects in accordance with the conditions of low calorific value coal power generation will be given priority among the thermal power construction works in each province (autonomous region, municipality) for their own use or for transmission.
(2) the low calorific value coal power generation projects taking coal gangue as main fuel, will take precedence over the conventional coal-fired sets for scheduling and arrangements for power, and combine with the slow load tracking speed of the circulating fluidized bed boiler generating sets to reduce the set load to adjust the rate requests.
(3) support the low calorific value coal power projects using coal gangue as the main fuel as one or more of the enterprises owned power plants of the enterprises in line with national industrial policies located in the mining area industrial park, or participating in the direct electricity supply for major users.
