Investment Boom of Private Enterprises In China PV Industry

During the photovoltaic sector's downturn year, the poor performance reports of the major private Chinese PV companies did not stop them to continue the crazy pace of investment expansion. Some experts said that the real reason behind the frenzied investment in private enterprises is the bright expectation of a recovery situation this year.

In fact, the frenzied investment has not stopped since last year, and recently there are a number of private PV companies to continue its expansion strategy.

On March 1, JinkoSolar announced cooperation with the Canadian component manufacturer Heliene to establish a subsidiary for the production of PV modules in Ontario, Canada.

Last month, the GCL announced its first civilian rooftop PV systems will be launched on February 29-March on the 2nd PV Expo in Tokyo, Japan. The launch of the GCL civil rooftop PV systems is a design to fit the typical Japanese-style concrete flat roof. This also indicates that the GCL is to enter the Japanese market.

Powerway New Energy and a Japanese solar system integrator - West Control Group jointly funded the establishment of "Bao Wei Japan", the main business scope includes the design of solar photovoltaic power plant, material supply, construction, installation and maintenance.

Hareon Solar Technology Co., Ltd. also announced that the technological transformation of the existing of the battery components production automation construction. It will further enhance the company's overall profitability and reduce cost of its four subsidiaries.
