4 PV Power Plant Projects 129MW In Gansu Province of China Started

The first phase of the 50MW photovoltaic power generation project belonging to China Electric Power Construction Group (referred to as "China Electric Power Construction"), invested by China Hydropower and New Energy Development Corporation investment in Wuwei City, Gansu Province started construction. It is planned to be completed and get connected to the grid before the end of 2012, and to become the first photovoltaic project of China invested by China Electric Power Construction.

It is reported that the project as an integral part of the 2GW photovoltaic power base in Wuwei of Gansu, has a total installed capacity of 150MW. In December 2011 the first phase of the 50MW project was approved by Gansu Province Development and Reform Commission to carry out preparatory work. The total investment reached 620 million yuan. Covering an area of 1.07 million square meters, it is expected to be installed with a total of 208 400 240W PV modules.

In addition, a total of 4 photovoltaic power generation projects including phase one of Realforce Power Co., Ltd.'s 100MW project with 30MW, phase one of Datang new energy's 120MW project with 20MW, TBEA's 9MW project, have been started construction in the Golden Sun's new energy high-tech Zone of Wuwei in Gansu Province.
