Recently, Deputy secretary and mayor of Hohhot City of Inner Mongolia, Qin Yi and Inner Mogolia Sunnergy PV (hereinafter referred to as SNG) Board Chairman Zhou Jian, held discussions on the project investment proposition of sng's 3GW solar cells.
During the symposium discussions, Zhou Jian reported on the 3GW PV industry chain production base project planning and corporate development, and expressed that with abundant solar energy resources, and the advantage of the electricity cost and related policies, it is favorable for the industrial development in Inner Mongolia.
Inner Mogolia Sunnergy PV is a private owned company by the UK Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., it is a high technology enterprise specialized in researching and manufacturing of electronic silicon materials. The main products include heavily doped ic grade mono silicon ingots, polished wafers, solar mono silicon ingots/wafers, and 8-18 inch large diameter mono silicon ingots. Meanwhile sng is also specialized in high quality dopant, silicon seed crystal, graphite hot zone and spare parts.
Being a high-tech globalization corporation established in January 2006 by British anz, sng is registered in inner mongolia hohhot export processing zone, and sets up branches in shanghai, wuxi and hohhot. dr. james jian zhou, the founder as well as chairman of board, is an ic grade silicon material expert, and a u.s. returned student. dr. zhou used to serve for mitsubishi silicon america, and lead a group of engineers to research, develop and maintain crystal technologies for more than 10 years. he is a famous expert with deep fundamental in semi-conductor theoretical principle and ample experiences of practice.
Currently sng has an annual mono silicon production capacity of 500 tons, and silicon cutting capacity of 30 million pieces.
