Chinese Wind Turbine Put Into Operation In Sweden For The First Time

The two wind turbines manufactured by the Chinese Sinovel were put into operation on February 29 in the western town of Sweden - Moore Comcast, which means that the Chinese wind turbine manufacturers are expected to gain a foothold in the European market.

The rated power of the 2 Typhoon turbines is of 3 MW, diameter 113 meters, total height 150 meters. They were purchased by CRC wind power company headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city at the price of 84 million kronor ($ 12.85 million U.S. dollars), would be used for the Moore Kom Town's wind power project. It is expected that the two sets of power generation capacity is of 15000 MW, which will meet the annual electricity demand of more than 3000 households in Sweden.
