The new energy projects of The Three Gorges Corporation - Mei Jia Mountain Wind Farm and the Jianshan liangzi wind farm in Yunnan province, were started construction on February 22.
The 2 wind farm projects - Mei Jia Mountain Wind Farm and the Jianshan liangzi wind farm in Yunnan province, were invested by the Three Gorges Group's subsidiary, the Three Gorges new energy company, are located in Yao An County, Yunnan Province.
With a total investment of 950 million yuan, the installation is of 66 stand-alone 1.5MW wind turbines, a total installed capacity of 99MW. It is planned to be put into operation in October this year.
