Recently, Huaneng Renewables got permission from the Shanxi Province government for the four wind power projects in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. The projects are located in Yuanping City, Wutai County, Fanshi County and shenchi County, the total installed capacity of 198,000 kilowatts. More than 1.7 billion yuan was invested into the wind power projects.
The four wind power projects are the Duan Jiabao wind farm Phase Two, the E Mountain wind power project, the wolf Stream (Phase One of the Sand River wind power project), and the TaipingZhuang wind power project. After of these projects put into operation, Huaneng Renewables will have a cumulative wind power capacity of 500,000 kilowatts in Shanxi, which is of great significance for optimizing the layout of the Huaneng wind power projects.
