Recently, the first garbage incineration power plant in Shanxi has been approved to be put into operation, and a supporting large garbage compression transfer station will be built. The station could handle 1440 tons of garbage every day from waste to electricity, will put an end to the history to rely on the landfill of waste disposal.
The plant is located in Taiyuan City Private Economic Development Zone. With the franchise of burning the garbage to generate electricity, it can do financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the garbage incineration power plant facilities within the licensed operating period. Then, ownership and the use rights of the municipal solid waste incineration power plant facilities will be transferred to Taiyuan urban and rural management committee.
The plant will apply the screening pretreatment and the mechanical grate furnace incineration technology incineration to deal with the waste. 1440 tons of garbage can be burned every day in the plant, a total of 53 million tons of trash can be turned into electricity.
